Tree of Life UU Presents “Mother Earth,” a Modern Art Music Worship Service

Instruments ready to be picked for Tree of Life's Mother Earth worship service.

The AMP Ensemble will perform a special program of modern art music at Mother’s Day services at the at Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 5603 Bull Valley Road in McHenry this Sunday, May 13 at 10:45 am.
The  program, Mother Earth, will feature works dedicated to the planet and its preservation. These works will range from an intimate setting for alto flute and guitar to experimental electronic work, to a beautiful piece of modernism that has become almost classic.
Forrest Ransburg, Music Director at Tree of Life and founder of the AMP said, “AMP Ensemble is the project of mine whose future I am most excited about. The chemistry of the players and the magical nature of the rep we’re tackling is honestly the start of something great. We are still in our first season together, and I can’t wait to see where we will go!”

Forest Ransburg performs on flute accompanied by an AMP Ensemble member.
